The Fraser Fir is a growing in popularity as a cut Christmas Tree, being non drop aromatic and quite narrow and stiffly upright in habit, making it perfect for thos with restricted room width. The dark blue green foliage on the upper side of the needles contrasts with their silvery undersides, giving the tree a sort of natural sparkle and lustre.
To keep your tree looking at its best cut about 2.5cm of the bottom of the trunk if your not putting it up straight away take it out of the net and place it in a bucket of water in the garden unitl your ready. Once your ready to move it inside give it a good shake to get any loose needles or other bits of depris out. once youve got it secured in the stand make sure any heating source near by is turned down or off, water everyday with at least 500ml of water.
