One of the more compact and floriferous of the rock roses, Cistus corbariensis makes a dense and bushy mound of dark green elliptical, wavy edged and crinkled evergreen leaves, smothered in summer with open five petalled rose like white flowers with yellow centres, very attractive to pollinators. In a sheltered south facing spot in full sun with well drained soil this plant may reach c 100cm high by 150cm wide, but should be sheltered from drying winds and excess winter wet. It is hardy to -10% in the right location, but in more exposed spots would require winter protection.
