Trollius 'Lemon Supreme' is an unusual and strangely delicate upright herbaceous perennial, with deeply lobed, sharply-toothed dark green leaves and long-stalked, bowl-shaped clear lemon yellow flowers, hence the common name of Globeflower, although this variety is only half as high as some in the species. Prefers a heavy moist soil which does not dry out, and good for a bog garden or the margins of a pond. Will grow well in sun or in semi shade, and flowering will be prolongued with regular deadheading. Goes well in a cottage garden setting, and grows to c 30cm high by 30cm spread.
