Salvia nemerosa Caradonna

Deep blue spires  of long lasting flowers over nearly black stems make this bee and butterfly friendly perennial a garden must have.  It's certainly one of our favourites.  

Preferring well drained but moist soil in decent sunlight, this hardy perennial makes a very striking addition to the herbaceous border, especially when planted en masse.
