Echinops Taplow Blue

The globe thistle is highly attractive to bees & butterflies. Powder blue, round, spiky flower heads atop robust stems, with pale green, jagged, thistle-like-foliage, grey underneath. Good for cutting.

Suitable for borders in the sun, on well-drained soils. Tolerant of chalk and poor soils.

Flowering time is Mid to late Summer.
