Hemerocallis Lemon Bells

Day Lillies, as Hemerocallis are commonly called make a useful border perennial forming clumps of bright green, narrow, strap like foliage in summer and bearing funnel shaped, deep lemon yellow flowers,  10 cm in diameter, opening from mahogany coloured buds.  Although each flower only opens for a day, they are borne in regular succession from May through to July and make a good cut flower.
