One of the late blooming group oc clematis, Pink Fantasy produces abundant blooms from about June through to September, which are large (up to 12cm across), a lovely shade of pink, with deeper central bars and a dusky pink centre. It's shade tolerant, so doesn't need as much sun as some other clematis, vigorous, up to 2.5metres in a season and very tough. Needs well drained fertile soil with a cool root run, and should be pruned hard in late winter or early spring to a good pair of buds approximately 30 to 35cm from the ground.
