Aster alpinus is a clump forming perennial with neat mounds of mid green leaves, over which float pretty daisy like violet flowerheads with a yellow centre. Ideal in a rock garden, or tfor the front of borders, on cottage garden walls or in pots. Max Height 25cm. Max Spread 45cm. Flowers May to July. Full sun. Hardy. Water thoroughly before planting.
