A lovely weeping form of crab apple with reddy bronze leaves set against dark purple stems and cascades of deep pink flowers in spring. These are followed by small red purple fruits, which can be used to make jam, or left on as winter decoration and food for birds. Expected height and spread after 20 years, 3.5 metres x 2.5 metres. Requires reasonably fertile, moist but well drained soil, in a sunny or semi shaded spot. A beautiful addition to any garden.
