'Brown Turkey' is generally regarded as the best fig for UK growers, being hardy in most areas and locations, and should fruit reliably given good sunshine and a sheltered position. Can grow to an eventual height and spread of c 3m x 2m, but easily controlled in a smaller space and can even be grown as a patio plant in a large pot. Likes a well drained soil in sun.
