Hellebores are an extremely useful addition to the winter garden, flowering from early winter to late spring, and with waxy evergreen, often interesting foliage. 'Camelot' has cream coloured outward facing flowers on strong red shaded stems., which gradually fade to copper. Ideal as ground cover in lightly shaded areas, but also great as part of a winter display in pots. Prefers a moist but well drained soil, and will thrive in sun and partial shade. An added benefit is that even after the flowers fade their paper like structure can hold on for many weeks as a feature above the new foliage in spring.
