An excellent, semi evergreen, perennial groundcover plant, particularly good in shady areas, Ajuga reptans 'Catlin's Giant' has large round purple green and glossy leaves, which grow in rosettes. Above these in mid to late spring rise spikes of tiny clear ble flowerheads arranged in whorls on short flower spikes. maximum height around 25cm and spread, up to 60cm. Very low maintenance, and combines well with other shade loving perennials. Holds an RHS Award of Garden Merit.
