Geum 'Mrs Bradshaw is a clump-forming perennial with hairy dark green pinnate basal leaves and upright stems of semi-double, scarlet flowers. Previously known as 'Feuerball' it's become a bit of staple of the classic English country garden. Growing to a maximum height of 40cm to 60cm, spreading to 60cm, it begins to flowers in June and deadheaded regularly will flower right through till late summer. Loves full sun preferably in moist, well drained soil of most types, geum is very hardy, and suitable for all aspects and exposures. Holds an RHS Award of Garden Merit.
