Helenium 'The Bishop'

'The Bishop' is a bright yellow form of this irrepressibly cheerful perennial.  It can grow to c 1m tall, so benefits from support stakes in windy locations and clumps 30 to 40cm.  Like many perennials it will benefit from digging up and splitting every 2 or 3 years to maintain energy and vigour.  Prefers deep moist but well drained soil in a sinny or partially shaded position.
